Top 5 songs in my intunes account

This is a list I wanted to make for a while because I am one of those people where, when I love a song I listen to it on an endless loop for the entirety of a project.

5.Just like fire by Pink
current play count- 572
“Just like fire, burning up the way
If I can light the world up for just one day
Watch this madness, colorful charade
No one can be just like me anyway.”

From the movie Alice Through The Looking Glass, his song is a power anthem like many of Pink’s other songs. (One reviewer used that as a reason to put it on his worst of the year list.)
But this song has power. When you feel at your worst, this song says “whatever- I’m mad, I’m crazy, I’m alive.”

4.Keep on Tryin’ by Poco
current play count- 630
“I’ve been thinkin’ ’bout all the times you held me
I never heard you shout
The flow of energy was so fine
Now I think I’ll lay it on the line
And keep on tryin’ to get home to you.”

This very old song has a very calm melody that is perfect for background music. The plot of the song is simple: love, loss and the desire to keep on trying. Why? Because trying is better than giving up. So even if you’re depressed, lonely, angry- keep on trying and things will change. The world and your life will continue to roll on, until the day you’re too tired to keep trying.

3.Remember The Name by Fort Minor
current play count- 694
“This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name.”

As you can guess that is not the official video. But that was the video that caused me to fall in love with this song. This AMV (Anime music video) is of Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma, a show that is basically about a competitive cooking high school. The theme of this song is: work hard for what you want. It inspired several superhero-esque images including this one that I call Food Wars: the next generation.

2.I Took A Pill In Ibiza (Seeb Remix) by Mike Posner
current play count- 912

“You don’t wanna ride the bus like this, never knowing who to trust like this
You don’t wanna be stuck up on that stage singing
Stuck up on that stage singing
All I know are sad songs, sad songs
Darling, all I know are sad songs, sad songs.”

I think what I love about this song (Seeb remix, not the slow version) is how it’s about depression and sadness but with an energetic beat. It’s like finding empowerment and inspiration through sadness or drama. Much like the previous song, it envokes heroic imagery but it’s so calming and serene.

All I know are sad songs. -say it loud and proud. because life sucks but the harder it gets the stronger we become.

1.The Chainsmokers – Closer ft. Halsey cover by Madilyn Bailey
current play count- 1,305
“Baby pull me closer in the backseat of your Rover
That I know you can’t afford, like that tattoo on your shoulder
Pull the sheets right off the corner
Of the mattress that you stole
From your roommate back in Boulder
We ain’t ever getting older.”

This song is about adventurous love; the main characters are traveling the country maybe even the world living on love and whatever’s left in their bank account.
I have set foot in about 30 states and each was an adventure. Whether you travel alone or with someone, this song will inspire a feeling of freedom, being the captain of your own destiny.

Those are my top 5 most played songs.

What music moved you?
